Shri Anil Narayan Kinjavadekar (61) (DIN-08756583) joined the Board of Eastern Coalfields Limited w.e.f. 15^th July, 2026. He is a distinguished Civil Engineer, Chartered Engineer, Registered Valuer, Architectural Consultant and Infrastructure Professional with nearly four decades of extensive experience in architecture, civil engineering, valuation, construction management and heritage conservation. Renowned for his technical competence, ethical professional standards and commitment to excellence, he has made significant contributions to the planning, design, construction, restoration and valuation of a wide range of residential, commercial, educational, healthcare, institutional and religious infrastructure projects across Uttar Pradesh, particularly in Varanasi.

Shri Kinjavadekar graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from the prestigious Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT), Pune, in 1987. He became a Chartered Engineer (India) in 1997 and is a Fellow Member of the Institution of Engineers (India). He also holds Fellow Membership of the Institution of Valuers and is a life member of the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India).

Apart from architectural consultancy, Shri Kinjavadekar has built an outstanding reputation as a Registered Valuer approved by the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Ministry of Finance. He has been empanelled with several leading banks and financial institutions for property valuation, technical assessment, and infrastructure appraisal. Heritage conservation and preservation constitute another important dimension of Shri Kinjavadekar's professional career. He served as a Vastu Consultant for Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, one of India's most revered temples, reflecting the confidence reposed in his technical expertise and traditional architectural knowledge. Furthermore, he served as a member of the Dharohar Sanrakshan Samiti constituted by the Government of Uttar Pradesh for the conservation and protection of Varanasi's invaluable cultural and architectural heritage.

He served two terms as an Independent Director of Smart City Varanasi Limited under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. Shri Kinjavadekar has also played an active role in various professional bodies and engineering associations. He served as the Chairman of the Association of Professional Graduate Civil Engineers (Varanasi Chapter), providing leadership to the engineering fraternity and promoting professional excellence. He has also been associated as a Council Member of the All India Valuers Association.
